TRACK OUT SPANISH

Need something to do over track-out??? Practice Spanish at home!! Don't forget all your Spanish during your fabulous 3 week break. Come back and tell Srta. H what you did to keep up with your Spanish while away from school :)

Here are some ideas to practice your Spanish during track-out!

-Kevin, Karla y La Banda Visit this YouTube channel to hear the songs you like to hear on the radio in Spanish. Write down words or phrases that you figured out because you already know the song in English! There are many songs that I think you'll like on this YouTube channel from Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, One direction and many more!

-Visit a Hispanic restaurant and try to order or partially order in Spanish! Mind your manners and use "Gracias, por favor, de nada" No matter what your current language level is :)

-Text someone from your class in Spanish! Ask and answer basic questions with them and see how long you can keep the conversation going.


-Click the Video links tabs on our class website to review videos we have watched or will watch in class

-Watch your favorite movie in Spanish Audio and/or Spanish subtitles
 Make sure it is a movie that you have seen a few times in English. You will be able to visually see the words on subtitles and this will help you to remember them. Hearing the words and guessing from the actions in the movie or what you remember from other times you have watched the movie.

-Try the iPad/iPhone app "Mind Snacks" for Spanish. The free version has lots of fun mini games with numbers. The $5 version has 50 really useful lessons of things we have learned in class or will learn throughout the year. I really think this app is worth it for all the lessons you get!

-Put your cell phone/iPod/tablet in Spanish under settings. See how many new words you can learn and how long you can go without having to change back to English. When you are ready to change it back to English the setting is under "Ajustes" (settings), General, Internacional, Idiomas.
